Our Breeding Program
What is your breeding philosophy?
Health and temperament come before everything else. We breed to the Dachshund standard, socialize every puppy from day one, never overbreed our dogs, and always give our mothers plenty of recovery time between litters.
Can I see the puppy's parents?
Absolutely! Once you are approved, we encourage you to meet the parents. They are friendly, well-adjusted dogs, and meeting them gives you a great preview of your puppy’s future temperament and looks.
What health tests have been done on the parents?
Both parents are screened for hip dysplasia, IVDD risk, and eye conditions, plus genetic testing for hereditary disorders common in Dachshunds. Documentation is available on request.
Health & Vaccinations
What vaccinations and deworming has the puppy received?
Every puppy receives age-appropriate vaccinations and is dewormed at 2, 4, and 6 weeks. You receive the complete vaccination schedule and health records on pickup day.
Do you offer a health guarantee?
Yes — every puppy comes with our lifetime genetic health guarantee covering serious congenital and hereditary conditions. A vet checkup within 7 days of purchase activates it. See our Health Guarantee page for the details.
What food are the puppies eating?
A high-quality, grain-free puppy food formulated for small breeds. We give you the exact brand and feeding guidelines so the transition to your home is smooth on their little tummies.
Puppy Care & Training
How are the puppies socialized?
Our puppies grow up inside our family home around children, adults, and other pets every single day. That early handling is why they arrive confident, cuddly, and comfortable with people.
What should I expect for training?
Start basic obedience the day your puppy comes home. Dachshunds are clever with a stubborn streak, so short, consistent sessions with positive reinforcement work best. We include care instructions and are always a message away.
Are the puppies potty trained?
Potty and crate training are started before pickup. Keep the same routine for the first weeks at home and most of our puppies settle in remarkably fast.
The Adoption Process
How do I reserve a puppy?
Reach out through our contact form and tell us which puppy stole your heart. Once approved, a deposit reserves your puppy and takes them off the market while you get ready.
Do you have references from previous buyers?
Yes — visit our Happy Families page for real stories and photos from families who brought home our puppies. Privacy rules keep us from sharing personal contacts, but the reviews speak for themselves.
Are there upcoming litters or a waiting list?
We maintain a waiting list for future litters. Tell us your preferred color, coat, or gender and we will keep you posted on upcoming arrivals.
